Who We Are
The Association for International Education and Dialogue (AIED) is an independent, non-partisan organization dedicated to advancing democracy, promoting good governance, and strengthening civic participation worldwide.
We work across borders to support democratic transitions, especially in non-democratic and emerging political environments, where the need for credible institutions, free elections, and inclusive participation is most urgent.

To promote democratic values and good governance globally by supporting free and fair elections, empowering youth and women, and fostering dialogue and education as tools for peaceful political transformation.

Current project:PEOM 2026
The Association for International Education and Dialogue (AIED) is currently implementing a large-scale Election Observation and Supervision Mission for the upcoming Palestinian local elections.
This mission brings together a team of over 400 trained staff and observers, deployed across multiple municipalities to monitor, document, and support the integrity of the electoral process. The initiative is supported through European Union funding, reflecting a shared international commitment to democratic accountability and transparent governance.
About the Mission
The Palestinian Local Elections Observation Mission (PEOM 2026) is designed to ensure that electoral processes are conducted in accordance with international democratic standards.
Our work includes:
- Monitoring polling stations and vote counting processes
- Assessing compliance with electoral laws and procedures
- Reporting irregularities and ensuring transparency
- Supporting voter confidence in the electoral system
- Coordinating with local stakeholders and election authorities
- The mission operates with full independence, neutrality, and professionalism, adhering to internationally recognized election observation methodologies.
